Showing a very creative side at a very early age, I studied art in a small Midwestern town outside Minneapolis, MN from 1971 to 1984. The Minneapolis Museum of Art offered tons of inspiration into styles and subjects of art. A decade ago, I quit my day job to become a house painter and tile worker. Specializing in homes built around the turn of the century, I practice 'controlled demolition' by carefully removing walls and layer upon layer of paint to get to the original beauty.
